Like an idiot, not only do I have 50 different projects going on at the same time for this site, I also have 5o other projects that I want to do inside my head. My head is starting to hurt with all of these ideas. But I have killer death metal like Brutally Deceased to help me cope. Now because of all this shit going on, some bands slipped through the cracks for me. My pal Ralf at Mystical Music has been telling me about these maniacs from the Czech Republic for a while now. And when I ran into Cerby from Obscene Extreme Productions, at Maryland Death Fest 2011, he gave me a compilation CD from one of his fests, and it had Brutally Deceased on it. I had heard of these guys before and this album was one of my favorites of 2 years ago. But I hadn’t had a chance to REALLY sit down and let it all soak in. Well, they kick MAJOR fucking ass and also shred that ass clean off to the bone! They take their name from the classic Grave song, so there is obviously a big Grave influence, but also a big Dismember influence as well. There is a manic quality to this band in it’s totally relentless attack in the way that they write songs. It has a Napalm Death influence from the “Mentally Murdered” era. Also some Dead Infection. This band just pounds you in the fucking face. The production is somewhat clean and “in your face” but that is fine when the death noise is THIS abusive. These fuckers just pound the living shit out of your face, body, soul and complete BEING! Songs like “Lustful Sodomy in the House of God” and the title track just pulverize the ears. Most of the songs are short and to the fucking point. I’m very late in reviewing this, but better late than never! ESSENTIAL! GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
