About Metal Maniacs

Metal Maniacs was founded in 1989 with a fanzine format, nationally distributed with a professional publishing history. Excelling at providing exposure on the latest in underground metal, Metal Maniacs has continually served as an industry leader in the genre. After 20 years of service to the metal community, Metal Maniacs went out of business and closed the printed version of its magazine in February 2009. In September 2009, the magazine returned, under new management, with a fresh online format preparing itself for the future of the ‘information age.’

OUR MISSION

To provide the metal community with what they want. In this new medium, we want you to tell us what you’d like to see on our site. Post in our forums or write and send us your input and suggestions. We can’t promise replies, but we will take your input seriously.
